Homemade Skin Cleanser

As I promised, here is great recipe for homemade cleanser from Make up artist Lucia.

We decided that this month will be dedicated to skin care.

First part from our series has been already published , in case you missed out you can find it here.

Homemade Cleanser Ingredients:

Don’t trust chemicals? Here is a tip on a homemade cleanser for all skin types.

Homemade cleanser ingredients:

- 1/8 cup ground almonds (use coffee grinder for grinding)
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Almond oil is a rich source of vitamin E that gives your skin the proper nourishment.

Milk is a natural cleanser that leaves your skin look fair and smooth. Lemon not only cleanses but also retains the natural skin complexion.

However be careful with acidic products like lemon juice. Stronger acidity turns product into a peeling agent!

Once you try it, we would love to hear from you.
Leave us a comment and let us know, how you like it!

Wish you "Stylishly Embroidered" day:)

Healthy skin Formula

Have you ever wondered why your make up doesn’t last?
Do you have breakouts, dry patches or redness?

Let’s talk about Skin Care.

It is very important to know your skin type. Accordingly, you choose products for oily, dry or combination skin.  Before applying any make up make sure you prepare your skin. Here is an easy step by step guide how to prepare your skin for make up application.

Wash your face with clear lukewarm water. Apply cleanser which suits you best. There are a lot of forms of cleansers on the market, I personally prefer gel form. Apply gel on wet face in circular motion, rinse thoroughly. (Cleansers with grape or cucumber extracts work wonders) Dry your face with soft cotton towel.

Tone. Toner helps closing open pores, it gives your skin healthy dose of what it needs to look younger, fresher and smoother. There are toners to suit every skin type.

Exfoliate if required. Exfoliation is very important for skin’s recovery process. It gets rid of dead skin cells and impurities clogging pores. Gentle exfoliation is recommended once a week.

Moisturize well. I recommend you ladies to go to skin specialists for skin mapping. This will tell you your skin type and recent condition, so you know exactly which products to use, including moisturizers.

This routine is called CTM. Cleanse, tone, moisturize.

Make sure to always remove make up and other impurities and bacteria from your face before sleep for healthy and vital skin!
